Biography
Greetings! I am blessed and thrilled to be serving in my first year as principal of MMS! We are going to have a phenomenal year! My wife, Brittany, is a registered nurse at Ascension St. Vincent's Hospital, and we have two boys: Rodney Freeland (incoming 6th grader at MMS) and Brenton Scott (incoming pre-kindergartner at MES). Brittany and I have been married since 2015. We love the Moody community and call it home.
Before I started in administration, I was a band director for six years (Red Level High School 2013-2017 and Demopolis High School 2017-2019). Then, I served as the assistant principal at Moody High School from 2019-2023. After that, I served as the 10th grade assistant principal at Thompson High School from 2023-2024. I am originally from Anniston where I graduated as valedictorian from Wellborn High School. My family and I attend Faith Community Fellowship in Trussville, Alabama.
