Important Information- PLEASE READ ALL

Good morning MIS Family!

We hope you are enjoying your summer! It is hard to believe that school starts in about one month, and we are so excited to welcome you and your children to our building! Please read the following important information:

-Join us for Meet the Teacher on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 9:30 a.m.-12:00 noon. Meet your child's teachers and bring school supplies!

-See the attached school calendar for the upcoming year. We ask that you keep these dates in mind as you are planning appointments, vacations, etc. Your child being at school as often as possible and learning is a priority, and we truly care about your child's attendance.
-See the attached school supply list if you have not received a copy. 
-See the attached EdStream information (more to come later regarding turning forms and money in).
-Only 5th grade students will use lockers. (We will send a separate email only to those parents with specific information).

-Parents will receive their child's homeroom teacher via email on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 (please check your junk/spam folders as well). ONLY PARENTS WHO HAVE COMPLETED THEIR CHILD'S POWERSCHOOL REGISTRATION-INCLUDING ALL DOCUMENTS (i.e., proofs of residence, lease/mortgage, etc.)- WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL.
