Congratulations to the MIS Scholar's Bowl for coming in 2nd place in the area tournament!

Congratulations to the MHS flag football & football teams on bringing home the state championship in their respective classes!

Coming up at MIS:
- iReady benchmark testing continues this week. Please see the note below from Dr. Scott regarding benchmark testing.
- The Moody Schools band concert is tomorrow beginning at 7 pm at Bethel Baptist Church.
- MIS Holly Jolly Hallways is this Tuesday from 4 pm - 6 pm. We hope you will come out to join us.
- The MIS toy drive is still going on!
- Mr. & Miss MIS pageant forms and registration fee are due by Thursday, December 18th
- Special Christmas dress up days are attached
- Christmas party information is attached. You should have received a Circool event to RSVP if you will be attending your student's party.
- We will dismiss at 11:20 on December 19th. This will also begin our Christmas Break. There will be no EdStream this day.


** Regarding i-Ready **

MIS Parents,

We need your help. 

Currently, your children are taking the Winter iReady diagnostic assessments. They take these assessments three times per year. We look for growth each time. As we have been looking at our current data, it is crucial to remind your children of the following:

-Get a good night's sleep (and be present) for the next two weeks of school.
-Eat breakfast each morning.
-Take your time and do not rush on the assessment.
-Focus and concentrate.
-Do your best so that we can accurately review good data with maximum growth. 

We are shifting a few things around in our schedule this week so that teachers and students are locked in to have the best environment and opportunities to do their best. We appreciate your help.
